Happy Father's Day!

Hudson decided he needed a little taste of dad's cinnamon roll this morning. I'm pretty sure he slobbered on it more than anything, but a picture had to be taken nonetheless!

After church we went and had some yummy Mexican food. The best part, of course, was the ice cream!
As you can see... Hudson saw not too happy with Nana after she took the ice cream away from him!!!

We spent a little of the afternoon hanging out in HD's new turtle pool. He wasn't too fond just splashing in the water, but really liked trying to eat the turtle's head. Silly boy.

So, I know Hudson will kill me one day but I couldn't help myself. That hinny is too cute!

Saturday SUN day

Hudson, my friend, Courtney,and I went swimming at the Leird's Saturday afternoon. The sun has been shining, the weather has been gorgeous, it was the perfect day!

Hudson was SUPER excited about going. He LOVED the swim diapers (VERY brightly colored!). We bought the smallest size, but they still came half way up his chest!

HD sported his new, SUPER cute swimsuit from his Auntie Ash. He kept grabbing at the sharks, crabs and turtles on his pants thinking he could pick them up. Silly boy.

All tuckered out! He didn't even make it to the car to go home before he was asleep!

Hudson loved the pool! He thought it was great when I would make bubble noises in the water. We'll be making this a weekly "to-do" for sure! On Sunday Matt and I went to Target and bought him a shaded floatie and more sun screen. We're all set!

5 Month HD!

There was NO way I could choose just ONE 5 month picture. These are my top favorite four of the about fifty I took. He's chewing on his hands or his blanket 24/7 these days. I could hardly get a photo without one or the other in his mouth!

Blanket baby.

So this is how I found Hudson last Thursday morning. For ONCE I had woken up before he did. I ran and got the camera before he started squirming to capture these pictures. The brown blanket was originally tucked in over his body, the yellow one covered his legs, and the pink one he chews on during the night. I thought the end result, of what apparently was a "rough" night, was pretty funny!

Hudson is doing really fantastic. He's sleeping through the nights, eats VERY well, and is generally a happy, easy going baby. Most people cannot believe how good he is. We are SO thankful! We absolutely love all the smiles he shares with us these days. They are TOO cute not to share with you! Enjoy!

Okay... well I'm sure there is, but this has got to come in a very close second!

Nummy, nummy- not so yummy.

After feeding Hudson almost 12 ounces the past 2 evenings, we decided we needed to get a little more serious about the rice cereal. He doesn't seem to mind it, but he doesn't really seem to like it either. At least I was able to capture a few smiles during our feeding session last night.
